SoCal Photography Group Brings the Ultimate Shootout Back to Studio J

The SoCal Photography Group once again swarmed Studio J today. Approximately 50 models and photographers along with a full makeup and hair styling crew came in to take advantage of the urban/industrial setting of the East Village studio for their Ultimate Shootout 8 – and what turned out to be Studio J’s final big photo shoot.

The Big Shot of the Day comes from first-time SCPGer, Mark Rosales! His shot of Jose Farias and a silhouetted mystery model (shown at left) shows some excellent light capture and editing to give it the final cinematic punch. Second place goes to Aiza Giron, whose shot of Josh Noblejas in mid-air and surrounded by wisps of light shows that a little graphic design doesn’t hurt Third place is Ryan Rivera’s shot of Alyssa Lerner with some amazing hair & makeup done by Kiefla Antonio and Veronica Deleon.
